Chinese citizen killed in multi-car collision in southern Vietnam

VOV.VN - A Chinese national was killed in a multi-car collision in the southern province of Tien Giang on April 22.

The accident that involved three lories and a taxi happened at Section Km 72 + 600 on Trung Luong – My Thuan expressway at 4:30 am, said local police.

At the scene, the Chinese national sitting on the taxi was killed, while the driver was severely injured and trapped inside the vehicle.

The two lories were partially damaged.

According to initial reports, the taxi hit the back of a lorry stopping in the emergency lane. Then the other lorry crashed into the rear of the taxi.

The accident caused congestion, forcing relevant forces to rush to the scene and regulate traffic.
