Vietnam attends Indo Defence Expo and Forum 2016
A Vietnamese delegation has attended the Indo Defence Expo and Forum 2016 at the invitation of Indonesia’s Ministry of Defence.

The delegation was led by Lieutenant General Pham Hong Huong, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army.
The event, themed “Bolstering Defence Industry Cooperation: Achieving a Global Maritime Fulcrum and Secure World”, is being held from November 2-5 in Jakarta.
The expo draws the participation of over 844 companies, including 573 foreign ones from 54 countries and territories.
At the event, Vice President of Indonesia Jusuf Kalla declared the expo aims to show efforts to protect world peace.
This is one of the biggest expos in ASEAN on defence, aerospace and marine technology, which is held biennially.
