Local authorities were quick to disinfect the home belonging to the suspected case in Me Tri ward of Nam Tu Liem district.
A temporary lockdown has now been imposed throughout the area.
The patient suspected of suffering from the COVID-19 is known a as a 23-years-old man of Me Tri ward in Nam Tu Liem who is a staff member of the pizza restaurant on Tran Thai Tong street in Cau Giay district. He regularly travels to Da Nang and accompanied by 29 people between July 12 and 15.
