Vietnam wishes to increase judicial cooperation with Hungary
VOV.VN - Vietnam values the traditional friendship and cooperation in various areas, including justice, with Hungary, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh told visiting Hungarian Justice Minister Tuzson Bence in Hanoi on November 15.
Chinh said Vietnam is perfecting a law-governed socialist State of the people, by the people, for the people, and it expects Hungary would help support Vietnam in applying science and technology, digital transformation, and artificial intelligence in law-making, training human resources in the judicial sector, and sharing experiences between the two countries’ judicial agencies.
On this occasion, the PM thanked Hungary for donating COVID-19 vaccines to Vietnam, and at the same time asked Hungary to continue creating favourable conditions for the Vietnamese community to integrate well into their host community.
Minister Tuzson Bence for his part affirmed that Hungary wishes to further cooperate with Vietnam in the field of justice, especially in the fields proposed by the Prime Minister. He also announced that the Hungarian side would provide 200 judicial training scholarships for Vietnam.
He conveyed the Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban’s greetings and invitation to Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh to visit Hungary soon.
The Prime Minister happily accepted the invitation and said the visit would be arranged through diplomatic channels at the appropriate time.
Earlier, Vietnamese Justice Minister Le Thanh Long and his Hungarian counterpart Tuzson Bence held talks on judicial cooperation between the two countries.
The two ministers later signed a Letter of Intent on cooperation in the field of training of judicial officials between Vietnam and Hungary.
