Do Minh Quan, Le Quoc Khanh, Ngo Quang Huy and Tran Thanh Hoang will represent Vietnam at Davis Cup’s Asia/Oceania Zone Group 3 competitions to be held in Tehran, Iran, from April 9-13.
Event organisers said they have received registration forms from Iran, Malaysia, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Syria, Tajikistan, UAE and Vietnam.
Eight teams will be divided into two groups and a draw ceremony will be held on April to choose two top seed teams. They will compete in the round-robin format. Two group winners will advance to a further round-robin pool of four, from which the teams finishing first and second are promoted to Asia/Oceania Group II in 2009.
