Vietnam to host World Championship Three-Cushion 2024

Last year two Vietnamese cueists – Bao Phuong Vinh and Tran Quyet Chien - reached the semi-finals and finals of the world championship.

The competition saw Phuong Vinh make a name for himself by winning the World Championship Three-Cushion after defeating his teammate Quyet Chien in the final round.

Previously, Nguyen Duc Anh Chien finished as runner-up in the 2019 world championship.

This year Vietnam will also host a round of the World Cup which is set to get underway in Ho Chi Minh City this May.

As part of preparations for the two global tournaments, Vietnam's top players will take part in a warm-up competition - Vietnam Billiards and Snooker Federation (VBSF) Cup - due to take place in Da Nang this April. The VBSF will select the top eight players who will go on to vie for the World Cup title the following month.
