Vietnamese chess grandmasters Le Quang Liem and Nguyen Ngoc Truong Son have attended the World Chess Cup 2011 which opened in Khanty Mansiysk, Russia on August 28.
With excellent professional skills, Liem defeated his rival from Indonesia, Megaranto to win the first day match of the tournament.
Nguyen Ngoc Truong Son with an Elo rating of 2637 drew his Chinese rival Li Chao (with an elo rating of 2669).
