VietJet Air set to reopen some international routes

VOV.VN - Local budget airline VietJet Air has announced the re-launch of a number of international routes that will connect the nation with regional destination such as Thailand, Japan, the Republic of Korea, and Taiwan (China) in April.

The reopening will see the Ho Chi Minh City - Bangkok route operate flights each Friday throughout April.

The route between Hanoi and Tokyo will be launched on April 6.

Flights departing from Hanoi and arriving in Taipei of Taiwan (China) will get underway from April 11, while other flights will depart from Hanoi and land at Seoul in the Republic of Korea from April 15.

The detail of the flight schedule and other information about air tickets will be available through the official website www.vietjetair.com, the mobile app “Vietjet Air”, the Facebook page www.facebook.com/vietjetvietnam , and the carrier’s agents operating nationwide.

In line with entry regulations of regional destinations, flights departing from the nation to foreign countries will only serve the needs of Vietnamese people who are going abroad for the purpose of studying, working, and visiting relatives. In addition, foreign nationals based locally who are returning home in accordance with the regulations of each respective country will also be permitted to travel.

VietJet Air has suggested that passengers should be active when referring to the various entry regulations put out by the various embassies of foreign countries, whilst they should also fully prepare all necessary documents and procedures ahead of their departure.

The Vietnamese budget airline will continue to implement immigration regulations set out by the Vietnamese Government and will conduct repatriation flights and flights for foreign experts, once permission is granted by competent agencies.

All flights will have to follow regulations on COVID-19 prevention and control measures imposed by the International Air Transport Association (IATA), the World Health Organization (WHO), and the Ministry of Health.
