Tours fully booked ahead of national holidays

VOV.VN - Vietnamese travel firms have received plenty of inbound and outbound tour bookings ahead of a four-day national break on April 30 and May 1, after a two year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Tourism companies have officially re-launched tours to popular tourist destinations nationwide, such as Phu Quoc, Nha Trang, and Vung Tau, all in the south.

They are also offering tours to other destinations in the northern region such as Sa Pa, Lang Son, Mai Chau, Ha Giang, Ninh Binh, and Quang Ninh.

A representative of Fiditour - Vietlux Travel Company said there has been plenty of positive feedback about the company's new tours, with bookings expected to increase between 30% and 40% compared to the same period last year.

At present, people are keen to choose popular destinations such as Phu Quoc, Con Dao, Da Lat, Nha Trang, and Da Nang, with the number of bookings increasing sharply ahead of the occasion.

Along with domestic tours, travel companies have also focused on selling outbound tours to Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and Hong Kong (China).

Moreover, many companies have offered outbound tours at low prices in a bid to attract travelers this summer, including tours to Dubai in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Southern Europe and Northern Europe, and Turkey, with prices starting from around VND25 million per person, said Nguyen Manh Toan, deputy director of Vinacomin Trading and Tourism Joint Stock Company.

Tour operator Vietravel has also launched new trips to the United States thanks to direct flights that offer travelers a shorter flying time and tours that last between seven and 12 days. Prices for these trips start from VND79.9 million per person.

Elsewhere, travel firms such as Indochina Unique Tourist, Lux Group, and Asian Exotic have welcomed back foreign tourists from destinations such as Thailand, Singapore, Europe and Mexico to popular places including Da Nang, Quang Nam, Da Nang, Hoi An, Hanoi, and Ha Long.
