Brunei, Singapore reinforce defense cooperation

Brunei and Singapore reaffirmed their long-standing defense ties at their fifth Defense Policy Dialogue in Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei on March 15.

This year’s dialogue was co-chaired by Suriyah Binti , Brunei's Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Defence, and Chan Yeng Kit, Singapore's Permanent Secretary of Defence.

The dialogue was also attended by military and civilian officials from both sides. 
Initiated in 2009, the Defense Policy Dialogue between Brunei and Singapore is aimed at fostering bilateral defense cooperation through discussions, information-sharing and exploration of new areas on strategic cooperation.
