A seminar was held in Hanoi on July 22 to promote the role of Party newspapers in propagating the resolutions of the 10^th National Party Congress. It was attended by representatives from the Ministry of Culture and Information, the Vietnam Journalists’ Association, editors-in-chief and deputy editors-in-chief from 30 Party newspapers in northern provinces and cities.

Many reports presented at the seminar highlighted the role of Party newspapers in disseminating Party and State guidelines and policies which serve as a bridge between the Party and people to help the economic restructuring in each locality.

 Participants also shared experience in disseminating measures to implement the Party’s resolutions at all levels in the 2005-2010 period and tasks of reinforcing national defence and security.
