PM Pham Minh Chinh arrives in Ankara for Turkey visit

VOV.VN - A high-ranking Vietnamese delegation led by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh arrived at Ankara Esenboga Airport early on November 29, beginning an official visit to Turkey at the invitation of the Turkish Government.

Chinh, his wife and other Vietnamese officials were welcomed at the airport by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Burak Akcapar and other officials of the Turkish government and the Ankara administration.

Vietnamese Ambassador to Turkey Do Son Hai and representatives of the Vietnamese community in Turkey were also present at the airport.

This is the first official visit to Turkey by the Prime Minister of Vietnam, and is also the first high-level delegation exchange between the two countries since 2018.

During his visit, PM Pham Minh Chinh is scheduled to hold talks and meetings with President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Vice President Cevdet Yilmaz, and Parliament speaker Numan Kurtulmus.

He will also receive a number of ministers and leaders of major economic groups of Turkey, attend the Vietnam – Turkey business forum and visit a number of economic, cultural and historical establishments of Turkey.
