Vietnam attends Prague international charity bazaar 2023

VOV.VN - Traditional Vietnamese products and items from 50 other countries were put on display at the Prague international festival 2023 which was held in the Czech Republic on November 12 to raise funds for charitable activities.

Nón lá (palm-leaf conical hat) and other Vietnamese specialties such as coffee, spring rolls, dumplings, donuts, and sweet soup were displayed at the Vietnamese booth, drawing plenty of attention from visitors.

Visitors enjoyed unique musical performances from many countries, including Vietnamese drum dances and lotus dances which won the hearts of plenty of guests.

The event has been held annually by the Diplomatic Spouses Association in the Czech Republic which is a voluntary, non-profit, non-political, and independent organisation founded in 1997, with members from about 50 countries globally.

Vietnam has participated in the bazaar since it was first held in 2000 to assist disadvantaged people.

So far, the association has raised about CZK70 million, equivalent to VND77 billion, for Czech charity groups.
