Huynh Nhu stars in Coca Cola advert ahead of Women’s World Cup

VOV.VN - Huynh Nhu, the leading player in the Vietnamese women’s football team, has surprised fans by appearing in an advert launched by Coca Cola ahead of the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.

In the one-minute clip, Nhu features alongside Alex Morgan, the fifth-highest goal scorer for the United States Women's National team (USWNT) with 121 goals, Katie Bowen, a professional footballer from New Zealand, Debinha, a Brazilian professional football star, and Ellie Carpenter, an Australian soccer player.

“The whole country believes in her because she believes in herself,” says Coca Cola’s video clip mentioning the Vietnamese striker, who wears the No.9 jersey.

Currently, Nhu and her teammates are making every effort during their training camp taking place in Hanoi in preparation for their first-ever appearance at the FIFA Women’s World Cup finals after recently finishing tours of Germany and Poland.

The Vietnamese female team and head coach Mai Duc Chung are set to depart for another camp in New Zealand on July 5.

At the FIFA Women’s World Cup, Vietnam have been named in Group E and will face the US on July 22, Portugal on July 27, and the Netherlands on August 1.
