Egypt night in Hanoi
A special programme featuring traditional Egyptian culture was held in Hanoi on September 17.
The show featured drum performances, folk songs and dances by the Nuba Drums art troupe from the capital city of Cairo.
Attendants enjoyed the lovely sound of music from some unique instruments such as pans and sandals and the 30-minute non-stop Tanuora dance with colourful swings.
The event, jointly held by the Vietnamese Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Egyptian Embassy, marked the 49th anniversary of diplomatic ties between the two countries.
