The Communist Party of Vietnam’s Political Bureau on January 16 issued a decision to set up a steering board for the coming campaign aimed at "studying and following President Ho Chi Minh's moral example".
The 14-member board is put under the leadership of Party General Secretary Nong Duc Manh.
On January 17, the Party's Secretariat formed a supporting section to help the Steering Board conduct the campaign at all levels.
In order to meet requirements for ideological reinforcement, the Political Bureau on January 7 issued a plan to launch the "studying and following President Ho Chi Minh's moral example" campaign among the entire Party and people in four years starting on the Party's founding anniversary (February 3).
