International Food Festival – Quang Nam 2023 to kick off in late August
VOV.VN - The International Food Festival - Quang Nam 2023 is scheduled to take place from August 31 to September 3 in the ancient town of Hoi An in the central province of Quang Nam, according to details given by the Quang Nam provincial People's Committee.
The purpose of the festival is to preserve and promote the values of culture, cuisine, and tourism of Quang Nam province in order to develop cultural and culinary brands, while simultaneously elevating the image of the locality as a unique and attractive destination for domestic and international tourists.
The event is also aimed at stimulating tourism demand and making significant contributions to the tourism industry’s recovery, as well as the locality’s socio-economic development.
A wide range of activities are set to be held during the event, including an exhibition to display One Commune One Product (OCOP) products from various localities and food stalls which will introduce the locality’s traditional food to visitors.
Furthermore, there will also be a space to introduce cultural and tourism products, as well as traditional craft villages’ handcrafts.
Most notably, 26 famous artisans and culinary experts from the country are expected to deliver impressive demonstration of 26 typical traditional dishes of Quang Nam at the event.
Moreover, a famtrip programme will be conducted to help visitors to explore the central province’s unique cuisine and introduce ecotourism sites in the locality.
