The Vietnam People's Army and the Army of Singapore will further promote cooperation in personnel training and increase the exchange of visits, said Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army (VPA) Nguyen Khac Nghien.
While receiving Singaporean Minister for Manpower and Second Minister of Defence Ng Eng Hen in Hanoi on March 15, Lieut. Gen. Nguyen Khac Nghien, also affirmed that the VPA is willing to share experiences with its Singaporean counterpart.
For his part, the Singaporean Minister highlighted the recent progress in relations between the two armies as a foundation for them to expand bilateral cooperation in other fields, thus further developing their friendly and reliable ties.
