The 16th National Mathematics Olympiad for students has finished in the central coastal city of Nha Trang on April 14. A total of 261 prizes presented, including 30 first, 73 second and 128 third prizes.
As many as 547 students chosen from 59 universities and colleges across the country competed in algebra and analytic. Notably eight students gained maximum marks of 30/30 in analytics.
The annual competition received much support from Khanh Hoa provincial People’s Committee and sponsors.
On the occasion, the Minister of Education and Training presented certificates of merit to the organizer, the Vietnam Mathematics Association, the Vietnam Naval Institute, and 103 top students.
The 17th National Mathematics Olympiad will be held at Quang Binh University.
