First Vietnamese university awarded Recognition of Improvement
VOV.VN - Vietnam National University in Hanoi has become the first Vietnamese educational institution to receive the Recognition of Improvement given by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), a British firm specialising in overseas education.
The honour is based on various categories of university performance, including academic and employer reputation, faculty and student ratio, as well as research citations.
The certificate of this recognition will be handed over to Vietnam National University in Hanoi at the 20th QS Higher Ed Summit: Asia Pacific programme which is scheduled to take place in Indonesia from November 8 to 10.
Over the past three years Vietnam National University in Hanoi has been listed in the 801 to 1000 band of the QS’s World University Rankings.
QS is one of the top three most prestigious university ranking organisations in the world alongside Times Higher Education (THE) of the UK and Shanghai Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU) of China.
