PM to address foreign investor concerns today

VOV.VN - Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh is scheduled to meet with foreign investors on April 22 to introduce Vietnam’s new policies and address their concerns.

The meeting will take place at the headquarters of the Government Office and will virtually be connected to all 63 cities and provinces nationwide.

According to the Ministry of Planning and Investment, the meeting will assess the impact of the domestic and global economic developments on investment, production and business activities, identify opportunities and challenges, and seek solutions to remove obstacles to investment cooperation.

Ahead of the meeting, leaders of the Ministry of Planning and Investment and the Ministry of Finance met with representatives of many foreign businesses and business associations in Vietnam to discuss the global minimum tax policy.

Currently relevant Vietnamese ministries and agencies are considering solutions to harmonize interests between the State and investors, and encourage investors to maintain and expand investment activities in Vietnam.
