5-year-old piano prodigy to stun Vietnamese audiences

VOV.VN -While he might be young, Vietnamese-American piano child prodigy Evan Le, aged five, has already been stunning audiences everywhere he goes with his amazing otherworldly talent.

It honestly seems like he’s an old soul who has been sitting behind the piano for centuries, say many critics in their reviews. This tiny titan is an absolute darling they say— but so humble it’s incredible.

Now audiences in Vietnam will for the first time get a chance to attend one of his performances. Evan Le will perform at the SOUL Christmas Charity Concert on December 17 in Ho Chi Minh City.

Le will perform Diem xua and Mua hong, two selections from the popular composer Trinh Cong Son.

On December 19, Evan will also perform in Hoi An alongside singer Khanh Ly at the Hoi An Traditional Art Performance Theatre.

Evan Le was born on May 31, 2011 in Torrance, California. His full name is Evan Duy Quoc Le.

His parents bought a piano for his older brother to practice, but suddenly, it was Evan who surprised everyone with his innate talent to play when he was just the tender age of three.

His parents took him to the Virtuosos Russian Music Academy School of Music in Westminster, California and after just six months, Evan joined a Vstar Kids contest and won third place.
