Cultural library for Vietnamese children opens in Hanoi

VOV.VN - A cultural library for Vietnamese children was inaugurated in 21 Trang Thi, Hanoi on November 16.

The library is built under a project initiated by the National Library of Vietnam, and the Republic of Korea (RoK)’s  Foundation for International Culture Exchange (ICF) and is funded by Hyundai Oilbank.
The project is launched on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and RoK, and the 100th founding anniversary of the National Library of Vietnam.

According to Thuy Nga, director of the National Library of Vietnam, the library will help children form their reading habits, equip themselves with useful information and knowledge, and develop lifelong learning skills.
President of ICF Hyun Jae said the library will help future generations of Vietnamese to cultivate their knowledge, nurture their dreams, and contribute to further enhancing cultural exchange between the two countries.
Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Huynh Vinh Ai awards insignia to Korean representatives who made contributions to the project.
