Hanoi welcomes opening of Japanese Doll exhibition

VOV.VN - The Japanese Doll exhibition will take place in Hanoi on October 3 as part of activities to mark the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Japan.

The exhibition is jointly held by the Japanese Cultural Club under the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam and the Japan Foundation Center for Cultural Exchange in Vietnam.

On display will be traditional and modern Japanese dolls crafted directly by skillful hands of Japanese artisans.

Aside from enjoying dolls from the Far East nation, visitors will have the opportunity to experience other interesting activities featuring Japanese culture such as Ikebana flower arrangements, calligraphy, art performances, and products at a range of booths.

The exhibition is scheduled to run until October 8 at the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam.
