Miss Vietnam contestants in northern region begin training

| After the preliminary round in Hanoi on July 11, 40 contestants were selected and travelled to Cua Lo coastal town in the central province of Nghe An to prepare for the final round of the northern region. |

| Before travelling to Nghe An, two contestants including Le Minh Huong, 22, and Nguyen Thi Ngoc Nu, 24, withdrew from the finals for personal reasons. The list of contestants was then shortened to 38. |

| The final night for the northern region will be held on July 22 in Nghe An Province. Selected contestants will progress to the national finals in August, where they will be joined by 19 excellent southern contestants. |
