At the meeting, the top SAV leader expressed his wish for closer collaboration in the time to come between the two auditing agencies such areas as information technology (IT) auditing based on Big Data databases, and environmental auditing, which are of the Chinese Audit Office’s strength and wide experience.

He said he hopes that the two sides will choose a number of common themes on environmental auditing to conduct joint audits and exchange their experience in this regard. The SAV have worked together on this field with its counterparts from Russia, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand and Indonesia, Phoc added.

Regarding training cooperation and experience sharing, Phoc wished that the two auditor training schools would have the opportunity for future cooperation through which auditors can share training programs or training materials to improve their capacity.

"In the face of the fast-changing things presented by the 4.0 revolution, we are also looking forward to exchanging audit tools by applying remote sensing and resonant technologies in the audit process," Phoc said.

For her part, Hu Zejun emphasized that China and Vietnam are two neighboring countries which share close proximity to each other by mountains and rivers and have enjoyed the long-standing friendship and wide-ranging cooperation in the spirit of good partnerships, good comrades and good neighbors.

She believed that with the combined efforts, the strengthening of strategic connectivity under China's "one belt, one road" initiative will bring more benefits to the two countries' people.

The Chinese official affirmed her nation's readiness to intensify its cooperation and exchange with the Vietnamese auditing agency while hoping that the two sides will well implement signed cooperation agreements and continue to share information and experience in natural resources and environmental audits.

Both sides can step up auditor training cooperation with China sending its auditors to Vietnam as well as creating the best possible conditions for Vietnamese auditors to study at auditing training schools in Nanjing, China, Hu Zejun told her host.

China is willing to share its experience with Vietnam in how to apply BIG DATA technology in audits as China has reaped a lot of attainments in this field. It is hoped that these activities will serve as the driving force behind the stronger development of the two countries' auditing industry in particular and socio-economic cooperation between Vietnam and China in general, she said.
