Domestic gold rings' prices hit new record of over VND72 million per tael

VOV.VN - The prices of domestic gold rings increased on the morning of April 4 to a new record at VND72.4 million per tael, after global prices hit an all-time high of 2,300.7 per ounce.

Doji Group bought and sold gold rings at VND70.9 million and 72.4 million per tael, marking respective increases of VND550,000 and VND800,000 over the previous session.

Bao Tin Minh Chau Company’s gold rings also inched up by VND690,000 to VND71.12 million and 72.32 million for buying and selling.

At 9.11 a.m. SJC gold rings’ prices were quoted at VND70.85 million and 72.1 million per tael for buying and selling, up VND500,000 per tael from the previous day.

At the same time, Phu Nhuan Jewelry Joint Stock Company rated the yellow metal at VND70.85 million and VND72.1 million for buying and selling, up by VND550,000 from April 3.

Meanwhile, Saigon Gold and Jewelry Company listed each tael of SJC gold bar at VND79.8 million and 81.8 million per tael, up VND700,000 for buying and selling prices from the previous day.

Similarly, DOJI gold prices saw an increase of VND500,000 and VND600,000 per tael to reach VND79.4 million and 81.6 million per tael for buying and selling.

This sudden rise is largely fueled by the robust increase occurring in global gold prices. The price of gold on the world market was traded at US$2,300.7 per ounce on the gold exchange Kitco, up US$28.7 per ounce compared to the previous trading session.
