Korean beauty technology firm makes initial foray into Vietnamese market

VOV.VN - Renowned beauty technology firm Coati Co., Ltd. of the Republic of Korea (RoK) has officially announced a plan to make inroads into the Vietnamese market.

Based at its headquartered in Donggu district of Gwangju city in the RoK, the past 25 years has seen the company jointly develop and acquire beauty-related industrial academic licenses from top Korean universities.

The area that the company primarily focuses on investing in is hair beauty technology and the training of hair stylists.

As part of efforts to penetrate the Vietnamese market, Coati has signed a server contract with a company based in Hong Kong (China) and completed the development of the Artist Fun website (vn.artistfun.com) in a bid to provide online education services.

According to its business plan, when you visit the website it is possible to view videos for beginners so they can gain skills.

The website will provide hairstylists with relevant training courses and learning content, thereby making it possible for learners to gain practical knowledge like a professional hair designer.

The company is also in the process of looking for business partners to share information and benefits related to hair beauty technology.

Coati is set to attract roughly 100 million Vietnamese people who use Korean hair beauty technology through its website when entering the Vietnamese market.

In particular, the company aims to build customised curricula suitable for the Vietnamese environment and focus on the training of professional human resources.

According to Kim Jae-pil, CEO of Coati, the digital industry based on artificial intelligence (AI) is growing strongly.

Grasping this trend, the company is also actively investing to create a foundation for the Korean digital beauty industry as it seeks to penetrate not only the Vietnamese market, but also the global market, he added.
