Petrol prices drop sharply in latest adjustment
VOV.VN - The retail prices of petrol were revised down by over VND700 per litre from 3 p.m. on December 14 in the latest adjustment made by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance.
According to the latest changes, the retail price of E5 RON 92 was reduced by VND778 per litre to a maximum level of VND20,512 per litre, while the ceiling price of RON 95-III was cut by VND917 per litre to VND21,405.
In this review, diesel 0.05S is to be sold at no more than VND19,010 per litre, down by VND711 per litre, whilst the price of kerosene dropped by VND958 to VND19,964 per litre.
Elsewhere, Mazut 180CST 3.5S was capped at VND14,978 per kilogram after witnessing a decrease of VND549 per kilogram.
Since the beginning of this year, petrol prices have undergone 36 adjustments, including 18 rises, 14 drops, and four times when they remained unchanged.
