Petrol prices see sixth consecutive rise
VOV.VN - The retail price of petrol rose in the latest adjustment at 15:00 p.m. on September 5 by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance.
This represents the sixth consecutive increase in terms of petrol prices.
According to the changes, the price of E5 RON 92 petrol went up by VND140 per litre to reach VND23,470 while that of RON 95 rose by VND270 to reach VND24,870 per litre.
The prices of diesel and kerosene went up by VND290 and VND510 to VND22,640 and VND22,810 per litre, respectively.
Meanwhile, the price of mazut witnessed a decrease of VND280 to VND17,700 per kilogramme.
In this price adjustment, the two ministries decided to not extract any money from petrol sales for the price stabilisation fund.
Since the beginning of this year, petrol prices have undergone 25 adjustments, including 15 rises, seven drops, and three times when they remained unchanged.
