Petrol prices witness slight fall in latest review
VOV.VN - The retail price of petrol fell by more than VND51 per litre as of 3 p.m. on September 26 following the latest announcement made by both the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance.
Most notably, the price of biofuel E5 RON92 endured a drop of VND51 to VND14,215 per litre.
Furthermore, the price of RON95 remained unchanged at VND14,984 per litre.
This indicates the second consecutive reduction in terms of the price of E5 RON 92, and the third time that the price of RON95 has remained unchanged.
Moreover, the prices of diesel 0.05S and kerosene were capped at VND11,128 and VND9,449 per litre, representing falls of VND390 and VND144 per litre, respectively.
Elsewhere, Mazut 180CST 3.5S is to be sold at no more than VND10,826 per kilogramme, a decline of VND117 per kilogramme.
The latest price changes have occurred following a review on fuel prices conducted by the two ministries, a process which takes place every 15 days in order to ensure that domestic prices stay relevant with global market fluctuations.
