Vietnam Cycle 2017 gets underway in Hanoi
VOV.VN - Vietnam Cycle 2017 opened at the Hanoi International Centre of Exhibition (ICE) in Hanoi on November 16 with more than 50 exhibitors from the world's popular brand names.
Trinh Xuan Tuan, deputy director of Vinexad, the organizer of the exhibition, said this is prominent event for the bicycle sector, providing a boost to the trend of bicycle riding, and promoting green energy in big cities today.
It attracted more than 50 manufacturers from the UK, France, Italy, Japan, the Republic of Korea, Taiwan (China), China, and Vietnam, including famous brand names such as Laux, Trinx, Sava, MantisBike, Giant, Gitane, Dahon, Bianchi, Peugeot, Definitive, Puch, Look, Merida, and Galaxy who displayed their products in 150 booths.
At this year’s event, bicycles including sport bikes and children’s bikes made up 60% of products on show, while electric bikes accounted for 30%, and the remaining booths showcased components and accessories.
The organizers said last year’s exhibition lured 10,000 visitors, 400 bikes were sold, and 47 economic contracts were signed.
Through exhibitions, many businesses have found importers and distribution agents at home and abroad and manufacturers got feedback on the consumers’ taste to improve the quality and design of their products.
