Vietnam International Agriculture Fair helps enhance trade connectivity
VOV.VN - The Vietnam International Agriculture Fair 2022 kicked off on November 2 in the Mekong Delta city of Can Tho, attracting more than 100 local and foreign businesses, including those from Indonesia, Philippines, Cambodia, the Republic of Korea, Japan, and India.
On display across the 250 pavilions are a range of cutting-edge agricultural machinery and equipment, production lines, post-harvest preservation technology, and regional specialties.
As part of the fair, Can Tho is planning to host a ceremony to launch the Product Traceability Management System which seeks to apply a digital technology platform for digital transformation in agriculture.
A variety of activities will also take place, including Agriculture Techmart 2022, as well as a number of seminars on the application of advanced technology and digital transformation for sustainable urban agriculture development
Tran Viet Truong, chairman of the Can Tho municipal administration, says Can Tho hopes the expo will serve as an effective and important trade promotion channel, particularly for economic organisations and local businesses to seek to expand cooperation opportunities.
