Kirloskar Brothers Ltd. of India has presented five water pumps to the Vietnam Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.

The gifts, worth around US$30,000 in total, will be installed at the Ha Chau pumping station, Ha Trung district of central Thanh Hoa province. They are expected to increase the irrigation capacity and water supply for the local people's daily life, thus helping to protect the local environment.

At the hand-over ceremony held in Hanoi on May 10, Director of Kirloskar Brothers Ltd. Jr Sapre expressed hope for bilateral cooperation with Vietnam's agricultural sector.
