Emart officially joins Vietnamese retail market

After five years of surveying and researching Vietnam market, Emart - the leading Korean retailer under Shinsegae group will officially launch the Emart hypermarket for the first time in Vietnam on December 28.

The grand opening of the new hypermarket in Ho Chi Minh City takes place on the occasion of 23rd anniversary of Vietnam and Korea diplomatic relation.

Emart Go Vap hypermarket is situated on an area of over three hectares with the investment capital up to $60 million. Set to construction at early 2015 and operation at the end of this year, Emart Go Vap is expected to meet the shopping demand and create a modern consumer habit for Vietnamese with high quality products and reasonable prices.

Emart Go Vap campus is divided into two main areas which are the hypermarket area of 6,000 square metres serving diverse items from daily necessities, fresh products to household goods, electronic goods and fashion; and shopping mall including restaurants, amusement and education centres.
