Congratulations to new leader of Japanese Communist Party

VOV.VN - General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Nguyen Phu Trong on January 18 cabled a congratulatory message to the Japanese Communist Party on the success of its 29th congress and to Tamura Tomoko on her election as the new leader of the party.

In his congratulatory message, the Vietnamese leader noted that over the past 102 years. the Japanese Communist Party has always persevered with the goal of democratic revolution, moving towards socialist revolution, and steadfastly opposing war and hegemony. It has attached great importance to developing the theory of socialism, as well as building guidelines, platforms and organization.

He expressed his belief that the Japanese Communist Party would successfully implement the resolution of the 29th congress, increase prestige and position in Japanese society, and actively contribute to peace, friendship, cooperation and development in the region and the wider world.

The General Secretary said he is happy about the positive development of the traditional solidarity and friendship between the two Parties over the years, and affirmed the Communist Party of Vietnam is ready to work with the new leadership of the Japanese Communist Party to maintain regular contact, strengthen theoretical exchanges and increase coordination at multilateral forums.
