Vietnam attaches importance to all-round cooperation with Morocco
VOV.VN - Vietnam attaches importance to strengthening the traditional friendship and all-round cooperation with Morocco, Foreign Minister Bui Thanh Son told Moroccan Minister of Economy and Finance Nadia Fettah Alaoui.
Meeting with the Moroccan Minister on the sidelines of the OECD Ministerial Council Meeting (MCM) in Paris on May 2, Son expressed his impression of Morocco’s socio-economic development achievements in recent times, especially in the fields of renewable energy and car manufacturing.
He congratulated Morocco on playing host to the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations and the 2030 FIFA World Cup 2030 tournaments.
On this occasion, the diplomat invited the Moroccan Minister to make an official visit to Vietnam.
Alaoui for her part agreed to further promote Morocco - Vietnam cooperation in areas of mutual interest such as agricultural product processing, renewable energy, tourism, along with increasing business delegation exchanges, and actively participating in international exhibitions and trade fairs in each country.
She also proposed that both countries create favourable conditions for their businesses to access each other’s markets, and strengthen cooperation in the fields of banking and finance.
The two sides emphasized the need to increase delegation exchanges, effectively deploy the results of bilateral cooperation mechanisms, and closely coordinate and support each other at multilateral forums, especially within the framework of the United Nations and the Non-Aligned Movement.
