Preparations for APEC 2017 underway
VOV.VN - Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh on April 12 chaired the 4th session of National Committee for APEC 2017, attended by 24 member agencies and cities.

The session agreed upon the preparation of facilities for the year of the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation Forum or APEC year.
Mr Minh said that the first event namely the APEC Informal Senior Official Meeting will take place in 8 months’ time.
He urged the ministries and branches to strengthen coordination with other member countries, particularly with Peru, the host of APEC 2016 and Papua New Guinea for APEC 2018 as well as the APEC Secretariat to successfully organize next year’s events.
The 5th session of the Vietnam National Committee for APEC 2017 is set to take place in June.
