Vietnam, Russia prepare for President Quang's Russia visit

VOV.VN - Vietnam and Russia are gearing up to prepare for State President Tran Dai Quang’s visit to Russia, Deputy Prime Minister Trinh Dinh Dung told Russian Ambassador Konstantin Vnukov at an April 10 reception in Hanoi.

Mr Dung highlighted the visit important for the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries. Dung and Vnukov also discussed cooperation projects on agriculture and energy. 

Receiving Irish Ambassador Cait Moran the same day, Deputy Prime Minister Dung underlined that Vietnam is the only Asian nation among nine priority recipients of Ireland’s development assistance.

Ireland has provided 130 million Euros in non-refundable aid to Vietnam. Ambassador Moran revealed that Ireland will soon announce a national strategy for development cooperation with Vietnam until 2020.
