Vietnam on March 5 voiced its concern over the International Criminal Court (ICC)’s issuance of an arrest warrant for the Sudanese President, Omar al-Bashir.
The decision will create a dangerous precedent that might have a negative impact on the peace and reconciliation process in Sudan as well as international efforts in seeking a peaceful, comprehensive and lasting solution to the Darfur issue, said Foreign Ministry spokesperson Le Dung.
The ICC issued the arrest warrant for the leader of the troubled African state on charges of war crimes and crimes against humanity.
