Efforts to halt the spread of the COVID-19 will see the central city deploy a range of disinfection measures across high-risk areas in five districts, including Hai Chau, Thanh Khe, Ngu Hanh Son, Lien Chieu, Cam Le, and Hoa Vang.

Simultaneously, the central city will focus on cleaning up areas such as administrative centres, health centres, a number of large markets, schools, dormitories, worker accommodation, in addition to apartments and residential areas as a means of preventing the spread of the COVID-19 epidemic.

Military forces are set to be mobilised to disinfect areas at high risk, while the Da Nang Department of Health is expected to provide professional guidance with regard to the sterilisation of the environment in line with COVID-19 prevention and control measures.

This comes after the Military Region 5 High Command assisted Da Nang in disinfecting hospitals, blockaded residential areas, bus stations, Hoa Vang hospital, and the entirety of Son Tra district.
