Investigators shut down part of the roadway at the Xuan Mai crossroads in the district of Chuong My to try to get a better sense of just what went wrong.
All three individuals were killed instantly when the truck crashed into the motorbike, said police investigators. The identities of those killed are being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
