Fire guts motorbike repair shop in centre of HCM City

VOV.VN - A fire broke out at a motorbike repair shop in District 1 of Ho Chi Minh City at No. 4 Luong Huu Khanh Street on June 14, destroying property valued in the tens of thousands of dollars.

Numerous motorbikes and other equipment were destroyed in the blaze that broke out before dawn, reported the Zing Online Newspaper. It also extensively damaged the building housing the shop and nearby structures.

The 5-alarm fire was doused with the help of police and firefighters after about 30 minutes.

There were no serious injuries reported.
