Fishermen rescued following ship collision
VOV.VN -Nine fishermen were forced to be rescued following a collision between two ships, according to the Ba Ria Vung Tau Province Border Guard.

In the aftermath of the crash, the ND 3363 vessel fled the scene instead of making an attempt to save the nine members of the sinking vessel.
After receiving a SOS call at 19:15, the Ba Ria Vung Tau Province Border Guard sent three canoes and three nearby fishing boats to rescue those aboard the sinking vessel.
In total it took an hour for rescue forces to reach the sinking boat and successfully save the crew members.

The sailors were then provided with medical care at Ben Da border guard station.
The province’s Steering Board for Natural Disaster Prevention and Control, Search, and Rescue is currently implementing measures in an attempt to clean up the oil spills on the sea.
