French Pousse-Pousse Association supports Tien Giang people
VOV.VN - The Tien Giang People’s Committee has approved a five-year action plan (2011-2016) of French non-governmental organization, the Pousse-Pousse Association, which is allowed to operate in the province by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Over the past five years, the association has effectively supported social welfare programs in Tan Thoi and other communes in Tan Phu Dong District.
It has provided VND1.798 billion for 1,384 disadvantaged pupils, more than VND100 million for six households in Tan Thoi village to implement a cow raising project, built 7 Great Unity houses for disadvantaged families and offered free medical check-ups for 592 children.
