One dead following collision on Phap Van-Cau Gie Highway

At 6:00 AM, a 7-seater car heading to the center of Hanoi on the Phap Van-Cau Gie Highway hit an elderly man. The man, who was walking across the highway, died at the scene.

According to traffic police, the elderly man lives close to the highway and usually walks across the road to visit relatives.

Although the victim had been warned by local police before, he continued to walk across the dangerous route. The man told the police that he had walked across the highway many times and it was safe.

The incident is currently being investigated.
