'Suspicious' fire guts longtime Hanoi grocery store

VOV.VN - A late-night fire at the Thanh Do Supermarket in the Hanoi district of Thanh Xuan has investigators looking for clues.

Fire officials say the fire started around 1am Saturday, September 16, at the longtime grocery store on Giai Phong street in the ward of Phuong Liet. The fire gutted the building, but no one was injured.

At this time, it is still an active investigation, say fire and police officials. We are continuing to interview witnesses and with the information we have at present, it does appear to be suspicious.

If anyone has any information about the blaze, they are asked to call police or fire officials in Hanoi.
