Tower dedicated to God of Agriculture sets Asian Record
VOV.VN - A tower honouring God of Agriculture in the northern province of Bac Ninh has been granted a record by the Asian Record Organisation (ARO) due to the structure’s unique design.
Located in the Dong Do Village Ecological Area of Luong Tai district, the tower designed by Nguyen Sanh, a well-known architect in Vietnam, is comprised of 1,012 stone mortars with solidly concrete column frames.
The rice grain shaped structure stands at 15 metres high and is divided into five floors.
Rice mills are decorated around the tower, illustrating the development of the country’s wet rice culture.
Earlier, VinWonders Nha Trang's waterpark, known as “Tropical Paradise”, also won an Asian Record for boasting the largest number of games throughout Asia.
