Tractor trailer erupts into flames in Nghe An

Based on available information, the truck belongs to Mr Pham Van Suu from Trang Son commune, Do Luong district. Local residents reported black smokes billowing from the truck and notified the fire safety department of the incident. Luckily, no one was inside the tractor.

Emergency service was quick to respond once the fire alarm was raised. A fire truck and fire fighters rushed to the scene to tackle the blaze. It took them about 20 minutes to bring the inferno under control and avoid spreading to other vehicles in the area.

The tractor trailer took a major damage leading to the complete destruction of the front and engine area since the fire engulfed the trailer rapidly. Mr Suu said he just purchased the vehicle that costs VND1.1 billion last month.

The cause of the incident is still under investigation by the local authorities and fire department.
