Welcome to mural village of Tam Thanh
VOV.VN - The Republic of Korea (RoK) is home to some quaint mural villages, which tell stories about ordinary villagers and their way of life in the mountains and coastal regions of the country.

Many of these villages have become popular tourist destinations as a result and quite a few have been used as a filming location for Korean dramas and movies, drawing even more local and international visitors. |

Inspired by these mural villages, a large group of volunteers from the RoK turned their artistic talents into transforming the Tam Thanh fishing village in Quang Nam into the first mural village of Vietnam. |

It took the volunteers 20 days from start to finish to complete the project entitled ‘Tam Thanh Mural Village – Art for a Better Community’ |

One goal of the project is to raise the awareness of the importance of protecting and preserving the environment, said a rep from the RoK Embassy in Vietnam, one of the organizers. |

Park Kyoung Chul, representative of the Korea Foundation, another organizer, hopes that the project will inspire people to take more pride and responsibility in their hometown. |
